Digital Thyristor (SCR) Rectifier
A) Upgrade original (obsolete) CPU486 based digital control and the Pentium-based IPR GEN II with our third generation digital controller, using a PLC platform.
We have completed many rectifier power upgrades, supporting our customers with semi-conductor replacement or refurbishment. Locally we’ve supported many North American customers by upgrading their Rectifiers with more current technology improving performance efficiencies.
We also have IPR GEN II Digital Control Upgrades installed locally here in North America as well as international locations such as Indonesia, Mexico, & South America. Both our currently used digital controls are still supported, but we are actively pursuing key installations for our new IPR GEN III Control.
Briefly, our third generation digital control upgrade, is an affordable and practical way of updating your present control system. It alleviates all obsolescence issues pertaining to the present CPU486 based controller or its successor, the IPR GEN II. This controller also replaces all I/O circuit cards with a programmable PLC; customer’s choice. This alleviates additional renewal part replacement costs.
